Sunday Look: Plaid on Point

Happy Sunday… I hope everyone had a very pleasant Thanksgiving.  We had twelve family and friends at the dinner table, my heart was happy.   As a blogger I missed the opportunity to take advantage of the “Black Friday Sales”.  I’m sure there were some great deals out there I could have shared with you today.  Maybe next year 😉 .  I have to admit I was exhausted.  I must have been really tired, I did not wake up until around 8:50 am this morning.  This is highly unusual for me.  I’m usually up around 7:00 am.  I had no time to plan an outfit.  I picked the first thing I saw and added to it.  I have to admit it was so much easier, I didn’t have time to put a lot of thought into it.   I should do that more often 🙂 .  It’s officially the holiday season guys!  I’m excited for the holiday fashions.  I’m looking forward to seeing what you guys will be wearing this Holiday Season.
For this last Sunday in November, I’m feeling the Fall vibe.  I’ve been itching to wear plaid, It’s trending big-time right now!  I chose this plaid print top with a mix of hounds-tooth (or it chose me) with the look of two tops rolled into one, a twofer.  The bottom half looks like a corset with a tie front.  The top half is a classic shirt with collar and button front which I left unbuttoned.   I paired it with a pair of black palazzo pants.

My accessories were very simple.  I added a layered necklace within the button front.  Big earrings and a wide bracelet.  I wore black patent leather pointy toe heels to give me some height.  I’m  5’4″ and have to stay elevated for most of my pants to not drag the ground 😉 .

My BAG today was playful, a two toned black and white square clutch with YES & NO printed on each side.  Fun, fun, fun…

Style Tip:  This top would also look good with a long pencil skirt -or- A-line maxi skirt.
There is BEAUTI  in everything, find it…
