Sunday Look: Dot Print Jumpsuit

Hello, Happy Sunday and Happy Father’s Day! I want to get real for a moment. As I get older I see my body changing. Whether it’s a little bulge here or a sag there. I’ve learned to embrace some of my body flaws. Honestly, it wasn’t easy in the beginning. You know what, it is, what it is! After-all this is who I’m meant to be, this is me! Admittedly, some clothing, no matter how much we love an outfit, it may show off a few of those flaws. I may be able to do something about a few of them, others not so much. That’s okay. I’m looking for some kind exercise regimen to tie up loose ends LOL 🙂 🙂

My outfit today falls into that classic black and white category. I love this jumpsuit! I think I was drawn to the graphic white polka dots against the black background more than anything. The self tie belt allows you to tie a knot or do a one loop bow like I did. You can also use the belt as a headband.

The scoop-neck allowed me to accessorize with a long necklace. I chose a beaded pearl tear drop necklace. I kept the earrings simple in a round pearl ball mimicking the white polka dots. A single white bangle added another layer. Considering how short I am, and how long this jumpsuit is, I had to wear my tallest heels. I wore white platform super high heeled open toe shoes.

My BAG today was a white tote with a round black handle. It was the perfect piece against the graphic background.

Sunday Look: Chambray Floral Lace

Hello and Happy first Sunday. Last week was very busy. I had so much running around to do, all while trying to stay cool and look professional at the same time. I plan on living in light weight (professional) clothing. I’m looking for anything that has holes in it 🙂 .

Speaking of holes, today’s outfit had to be extra special. I was part of the Church program for our Graduation Service. This feminine dress is cast in floral lace and floral appliques with a flirty flounce hem and an attached lining for full coverage.  The perfect choice for daytime affairs, night time and church of course. This is the dress I told you about a couple of weeks ago. Remember, I requested a large and the sales clerk pulled me an extra large. What do you think, do I need an extra large? NO !!!!!! The large fit nicely.

The neck of this dress is so pretty and detailed with the floral appliques I couldn’t cover that up. I chose necklace with a longer chain. You can still see the beautiful neckline. I wore a turquoise, triangle shaped earring that went well with both the necklace and dress. I pulled out the lining color by wearing a pointy toe, high heel shoe in the same color. When I purchased this dress, I knew exactly what shoe I was going to wear. When you know, you know!

Why not throw a fun handbag in the mix. I felt my bamboo ark bag went nicely and added some additional texture. One of my favorite handbags to carry!
