Happy Sunday and Happy Father’s Day to all Dads out there. Today was another rainy day and we had to take photos inside.

This color block Vince Camuto jumpsuit was purchased a couple of years ago from Dillards. My black peep toe shoes are by Gianni Bini, were also purchased at Dillards.

The most exciting thing about this look is the “purse”. Let me tell you about this purse. It is very, very old, about 15 years or more. Back in the day J Renee’ was my favorite go to brand for shoes and the matching purse. Believe it or not, today was my first time carrying the purse.  I tore the tag off this morning when I pulled it out.  If I remember correctly I also purchased a shoe with like fabric.  Brings back memories.  I found the BEAUTI in something old… (J Renee’ items can be purchased from several different department stores and outlets.)

Sunday Social: I’m in Blue

Happy Sunday.  I’m wearing BLUE.  Today was a special day at church.   I serve as Chairperson for a scholarship that is given to one of our graduating High School Seniors.  I presented that scholarship today to a deserving young lady.

My husband chose my entire outfit for today. This BLUE ribbed dress by Cremieux was very flattering.  As you can tell from previous posts I LOVE Cremieux , they fit me so well.  I had selected a different shoe one I have been itching to wear (I will be sharing that shoe soon) but my husband suggested I wear my nude Christian Louboutin.  My watch is Michael Kors, and the rest of my jewelry is from deep within jewelry box.  Shades are Marc Jacobs, I picked up the purse at Nordstrom Rack.   Photos were taken in our backyard.  As always I felt the BEAUTI.

Look what I found. I stopped by a store to purchase a greeting card. What did I see yes these scarves? I immediately thought about the days leading up to July 4th festivities. They can be used several different ways: tied around the neck of course, the waist as a belt, a headband and tied to a purse handle.  I plan to use and share them with my Grand Girls. OK now I will spill the beans, they were only $1.00 each, yep!

I know for a fact they will look good however I decide to wear them. It was a dollar well spent, in my case $4.00. The BEAUTI in this, not everything has to break the bank 🙂

BEAUTI in my little white dress. I LOVE to wear white and I can always count on getting a spot or two on me for sure. White is a great cool color for spring and those hot summers. When it’s hot outside I find myself wearing it two or three times a week, with my spots.

My dress is Cremieux I got on sale for 60% off, regular $129. I chose a floral print shoe by Guess. I wanted the dress to be the statement so I was minimal with my earrings and necklace. I found the bag when I was in Florida last year, finally got to use it.

Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone… How do you RED WHITE & BLUE? I thought about what I would  wear to the picnic then later for cocktails.  Not wanting to change clothes completely, I decided to just change my accessories.

It’s so simple to go from day to night with little effort. The elastic ankle jean I’m wearing are I-N-C International Concepts from Mays’s they are unbelievably soft.   My red Vince Camuto pumps (pointed toes) were purchased about two years ago from Dillard’s.  I switched from a tied scarf (it’s actually my husband’s pocket square, SHHH don’t tell, he didn’t even notice) to a chunky necklace, added bangles and changed my watch.  The one major change that made the biggest difference was my bags.  The large Michael Kors Tote and small sequence clutch (added some sparkle) was a perfect transition.  Enjoy the BEAUTI in your long weekend.  And lastly, please remember our fallen Military men and women.
