Today marks the last Sunday of 2015… I hope everyone had a great Christmas and spent time with family and friends.
Well, you know me, I’ve been waiting for a cool day after having a record warm holiday. The star of today’s outfit is this “Faux Fur Silver Metallic Vest”, I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. Lucky for me it was on a special “One Day Sale”, my kind of purchase. This vest is so SOFT… (I wish you could feel it). Look how it jazzed up this simple BLACK long sleeve dress. I’m looking forward to wearing it again with a turtle neck and skinny leg jeans. It will also look good with a leather skirt. Although it looked just as good without a belt I added a belt to keep it from looking so boxy (gives me a waist). Let’s talk about this necklace, NO it’s not new, but it’s like I purchased it specifically for this look. Don’t you just love when an outfit comes together!
Bring in 2016 safely… Happy New Year… Dress to impress 🙂  …

Christmas is here… This is truly my favorite time of year.  Since this is the last Sunday before Christmas I thought it was more than appropriate to wear my Holiday Red.   I’ve been looking forward to dressing for the holiday.
My husband went a bit overboard with the photos today.   He loves me in red 😉  Red happens to be my favorite color.  This suit is perfect for “layered pearl strands”  in the words of Coco Chanel “A woman needs ropes and ropes of pearls”… it just adds a beautiful touch.  Notice how I threw in some green (purse) adding to that holiday feel.
I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Safe Holiday.

Happy Saturday… Its a beautiful Christmas Holiday Weekend.  I rarely post my Saturday outfits.  Feeling pretty good today about this PLAID DRESS look with colorful tights.  It’s kind of “cute”  🙂 so I thought I would share.  PLAID is something I don’t wear often, its a look that I love on other people.  I added a belt to cinch a waistline.   The flat boots makes it comfortable and casual.  I threw on the hat at the last minute and I liked it… 😉

Happy Sunday…  Another uplifting church service ” Seven Saying of Christmas”.

The weather always impacts what I wear on Sundays or any other day.  I’m a bit of a “hot box” and prefer cooler weather.  Sometime I feel a little awkward  being sleeveless (especially this time of year) going to church.   Today I’m all JEWELED up (from my neck to shoes) I chose to wear a cardigan with my jewel neck dress.  Ironically the two look so much alike you would think its a two piece.  “IT’S NOT” 🙂   My shoes are adorned with jeweled detail as well.  I even wore hose again today, could I be coming a fan of pantyhose?  Don’t think so… 😉

Not much jewelry was needed since this dress has a built-in jeweled neckline.  I had some similar earrings that paired well.  I added my jeweled watch and some stretchy bangles.  Threw in a bag with a little fringe for some “whimsy” and my outfit is complete.

The Holidays are upon us, remember to spread some Old Fashion Holiday Cheer.  Merry Christmas!

Happy first Sunday of December. The Holiday Season is here…  What a great sermon today at church.  We had a praise and worship good time…  It looks like the cooler cold weather has left us for now.  Last week was sweater weather and today not so much 🙁 .  I chose this navy sheath dress with cutouts exposing the lining underneath.  Don’t you just love my      “Cinderella Shoes” ?  I’ve had my eyes on them for a while.  Its always good to wait for a sale 🙂 .  Hey, I even wore pantyhose today and I despise pantyhose LOL.  Wearing them added a more polished look.  Might as well go for it all.  I chose a gold colored pearl and earrings.  Pulled it all together with my bow detailed bag.

Hello! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Holiday, I sure did… I’m surprised I was able to fit into my skirt this morning.  And to end a perfect weekend “Baby It’s Cold Outside”, I’m loving it.

I saw this top about two years ago on Pinterest and I thought it was so ME. I knew right then I had to have it.  One day while browsing Charming Charlie what did I see, this polka dot top, it was mine .  I purchased the skirt a couple of months prior.  Talk about the perfect duo.

I debated about wearing a necklace, felt like it needed a little something extra. Added some “sheer dot” tights and I’m off to church.

Today is extra special.  My husband Ricky and I are celebrating 35 years of marriage.  Am I glowing or what?  He makes me happy 🙂 .  I included him in a photo today <3.

I’m always talking about its FALL, I have been waiting for a morning like today.  I was officially able to pull out my boots, LOL…  While I was out shopping for a birthday present for my husband (which is tomorrow) I stepped in NY & Co. and ran across this skirt.  By now you all know I’m all about the FRINGE.  I adore this skirt and it was perfect for pairing with boots.  I kept the top simple since the skirt is doing all the talking 🙂 .  I added a belt, statement necklace and played up my jewelry with a pop of color in the ring.   Here’s to hoping the cooler weather stays around.   Be Blessed…

Happy Sunday to all.  Our family has had a very busy weekend.  This morning was absolutely beautiful.  I just love the crisp feel of a Fall morning . I didn’t want to over dress (I’m a walking hotbox).  This pinstripe two piece set is VERY OLD, it’s actually a 3 piece set it has pants too (that I’ve never worn).  I can’t remember where I purchased it from either. “Old is the new, New”.  Did I just coin a phrase… 🙂

Gray is one of those colors being a cross between black & white that goes well with other colors like Pink and Purple.  I almost work a purple shoe, next time.  For that tailored look Pinstripe is always a good option. My necklace was a gift from my daughter, it goes well with this neckline.

Happy Sunday its November!! I hope you all enjoyed that extra hour of sleep.  When I woke up this morning it was raining again. I immediately said to myself “Jeans”.  Wearing jeans is certainly different for me on a Sunday but it was just one of those days. I have been longing to wear this necklace I purchased some time ago. I’m all about the fringe trend that’s happening right now. Can’t wait to wear more…

My lace cardigan was purchased at a local resale shop, it was the perfect cover-up for my sleeveless top. I always accessorize with bracelets, my favorite the “glass bracelet”.  I think it all came together quite nicely :-)… Didn’t I wear Navy last week 😉 Oh well…

Wow! What a rainy weekend. It actually feels like Fall outside… Today was Women’s Day at Church. The colors I’m wearing are specific to Domestic Violence (Navy) and Breast Cancer Awareness (Pink).

My Navy Blue dress featured a cutout in the front and back. No additional jewelry was necessary. My flower corsage and handbag added that pop of pink signifying Breast Cancer Awareness.
