Happy Sunday… Can I just tell you how much I adore this dress.  I have to give credit to my husband since he picked it out.  He thinks the color mimics his favorite football team.
I had pictured wearing this dress in my head with these shoes.  This morning when it was time to get dressed it all worked out. This faux leather A-line dress is very flattering on my body type.  I have to mention how soft it is too.  There is something about this color that goes well with my skin tone.  Even though red is my favorite color this Camel color is one of my favorite as well.  I was beginning to wonder if I would get a chance to wear it with this Texas weather.
These shoes were perfect with my faux crocodile bag.

Happpy Sunday (evening),  I’m a bit late posting today.  We decided to take a drive after church to San Antonio for a late lunch with friends.
Today’s outfit was fairly simple.  I’m all blushed out in this babydoll crochet lace dress.  It has me feeling like a school girl.  Having a drawstring at the neck required no jewelry.   Nude pumps rounded out the look. Told you it was simple.   Yet, still stylish 😉 . Fashion should be effortless. NO RULES!

Happy Day of Love… What does one wear on Valentines Day?  RED…  I really wanted to wear something pink knowing many would be in RED.  Clearly that didn’t happen.  Red is actually my favorite color, oddly I don’t wear it enough.
This Sheath dress made from scuba fabric is very on trend.  I love everything about it.  It’s soft and very comfortable.  I wanted to do something different and not tack on a lot of jewelry, I decided on a scarf instead.  This scarf was a great find, so happy I ran across it.  And you won’t believe where.  I will just say SCORE…
I tried on a couple of different shoes but the LB won 😉 .  They go well with RED who knew LOL.

Mixed Patterns.. Happy Super Sunday.   Today I decided to mix patterns.  I adore the look even though I don’t do it very often.  A lot of people don’t think about mixing patterns, most are afraid to take the risk.  My blue and white checkered “crop top” paired well with my “balloon skirt”.  As I was dressing I was immediately drawn to this floral shoe.  I always do two looks before making my final decision.  Even though the other shoe worked, this one did the most.  I purchased this bag recently not knowing how I was going to use it… It works…  AND… I just had to ADD a statement necklace.  Pretty perfect I would say 🙂 .
Remember ladies, don’t be afraid to mix patterns, “NO RULES” go for it.  I DID…

It’s Gaucho Sunday… Can you believe its WINTER in Texas with 85 degree weather? How is one supposed to dress LOL…? The Gaucho is back as well as Culottes. I will wearing both as we move into spring. On a day like today a simple pump was perfect. If it had been much, much cooler I would have opted for boots. That’s how versatile the Gaucho is…. and these have pockets. Love pockets.

I decided to wear this tan and burgundy stripe crop top. Again, if it had been COLD I would have worn a sweater or something similar. Instead of choosing a solid pump I chose something with a pattern to keep if Funky. Didn’t want to be too matchy-matchy…

Let’s talk about this purse. Those that know me well; know I collect clutches. One of my favorite designers is the one and only Betsey Johnson. She makes some FUNKY- WHIMSICAL bags. This particular one is a perfume bottle and it really jazzed up my outfit. Her bags are fun and make for interesting conversation.

Hello, happy Sunday… I hope you all had a great weekend.  Today’s outfit is simple… yet it still gives that style and flair.  It’s amazing how a simple skinny leg pair of pants and top can pop like this outfit does. Simple works!  My top is REALLY inexpensive I think it was $5 from Ross.  I really broke the bank on that one 🙂
I love the print on my pants.  They are versatile enough to pair with several different colors and patterns.  Lets’ talk about the shoes… you know how I feel about that pointy toe and these speak to me in volumes.  Check out the toe cleavage 😉 … I think a pointy toe shoe is perfect for the skinny leg pant.  Don’t you?
My necklace was also an excellent choice along with my earrings.  I threw on a watch, bangles and topped it all off with my bag.

Happy Sunday… I’m calling todays outfit “Pleats and Pearls” 🙂  This was not the outfit I had planned on wearing today.  I had chosen something completely different last night.  But this morning I wasn’t feeling what I chose.  A girl has the right to change her mind. 😉
This dress is a few years old (with the tags still attached) but somehow it still works today.  Some things never go out of style.  Like “PEARLS“…. after all Pearls are always a good idea and go with anything.  Notice how I styled my Pearls two different ways, knotted and loose.  I can remember my mother knotting her Pearls…
My bag is about 25 years old.  It pays to keep some of your old purchases.  You never know when you have to go vintage.

This weekend was my birthday weekend and what a weekend it has been.  It was kind of hard to get out of bed this morning, I’ve  been keeping late hours (celebrating my birthday) and I was so comfortable in my warm bed.   As you know I usually prepare my Sunday outfits the night before.  I didn’t get to do that last night.  So today’s outfit had to be quick and easy.  Since it was cool this morning I decided to wear this sweater dress.  All I needed to do was add hose, pointy toe high heel pumps and colorful earrings.  I decided not to wear a necklace today.  Don’t think I really needed one, the pink trim can stand on its own.

Happy First Sunday of 2016… What a blessing to see another year, day and month.  We had a very uplifting church service today. What a way to start off the year.

I thought, why not start the year by wearing the classic “Black and White”.  There is something to be said about animal print and leather accents, it just makes a statement.

Look I’m wearing hose again 🙂 .  I went back and forth from a pointy toe to round toe shoe and “Pointy” won.  As I’ve said before that “Pointy Toe” is always on point… LOL

I debated whether or not to wear a necklace.  This one had just the right about of bling, who doesn’t love a little bling.  I’ve had the necklace for a few years, I don’t remember where it was purchased.  My earrings are part of another set but they paired perfectly with the necklace and dress. That leaves my bag, subtle bling, bling… AND I never forget the arm candy (watch, bracelets).

Happy New Year- About Last Night

Happy New Year!!! Last night was the first time in many, many years we decided to attend a New Years Eve Party.  What have I been missing LOL… we had a great time with some great people.

My dress was purchased exactly a year ago (on sale of course).   Not knowing when or where I would wear it.  I always like to be prepared just in case an event presents itself so I don’t have to run out and buy something at the last minute.  “That’s my motto of sorts”.  There is nothing more stressful than having to run out at the last minute to find an outfit.

As I reflect on 2015, one thing I did enjoy was sharing this BLOG with everyone.  In turn I hope you are enjoying it as well.   Although it may not be the most popular, it has helped some in knowing “if you like it, wear it”.   At least that’s what I do…  I have no idea how long I will continue to publish this Blog, BUT for now I will push on with hopes to take it to another level.   Oh! and thanks to my husband for being my #1 supporter and my photographer 🙂 .  Thanks for following and please spread the word.  You can also find me and Like my Facebook page and follow me on Instagram under STYLEYOURBESTBEAUTI  Happy New Year!!!    Happy 2016…   How will you be styling in 2016 😉
