Happy 4th of July Weekend.  Today I chose to salute the red, white and blue.  I took simple street wear pieces and made a patriotic outfit.  Using just your basic red slacks, blue blazer and white sleeveless top.  Very minimal accessories was needed.  Adding the scarf was the final salute to the outfit.  Today I have another fun bag “red sequence” nothing like a little added bling.  See me waving my flag and the pool water reflecting on my face, LOL.  Enjoy your extended weekend.  I’m off to start the festivities…

With tomorrow being Independence Day, let us not forget all the men and women of the military that protect our homeland so we can be free.  I SALUTE THEM!

Happy Day of Love… What does one wear on Valentines Day?  RED…  I really wanted to wear something pink knowing many would be in RED.  Clearly that didn’t happen.  Red is actually my favorite color, oddly I don’t wear it enough.
This Sheath dress made from scuba fabric is very on trend.  I love everything about it.  It’s soft and very comfortable.  I wanted to do something different and not tack on a lot of jewelry, I decided on a scarf instead.  This scarf was a great find, so happy I ran across it.  And you won’t believe where.  I will just say SCORE
I tried on a couple of different shoes but the LB won 😉 .  They go well with RED who knew LOL.

I’m off to the office in my Electric Blue dress. It’s always fun to shop my own closet. This outfit was very easy to put together. The show stopper for me is the SCARF and it was only $1.00 (I’m not embarrassed to tell you where I got it either, it looks just as good as a $10.00 scarf) 🙂  that’s right another one of my dollar store finds and I LOVE the boldness of all the colors. It went very well with this dress. I added a colorful belt and shoes, POOF an outfit was born and on a budget, even better.
Unstoppable in my ELECTRIC Blue Dress. What bold colors have you been wearing this summer?

Happy 4th of July to all.   Let the Festivities begin… It’s all about the RED WHITE & BLUE…This was my attire for the days leading up to July 4th weekend. This light weight 100% cotton shirt dress was purchased at TJ Maxx for less than $20.  Remember the scarves I told you about back in May that  I found for a whopping $1.00 each, well… They are perfect for this time of year. I will use them again and again. As you can see any bag will do.

My second look is more casual.  Boyfriend jeans and white top. Couldn’t forget the red shoes… Again, I was able to sport one of my $1.00 scarves to complete the look. Just a few pieces is all it take.

Looking forward to the 4th for some good food, family and FIREWORKS!!!

Happy 4th and be safe…

Look what I found. I stopped by a store to purchase a greeting card. What did I see yes these scarves? I immediately thought about the days leading up to July 4th festivities. They can be used several different ways: tied around the neck of course, the waist as a belt, a headband and tied to a purse handle.  I plan to use and share them with my Grand Girls. OK now I will spill the beans, they were only $1.00 each, yep!

I know for a fact they will look good however I decide to wear them. It was a dollar well spent, in my case $4.00. The BEAUTI in this, not everything has to break the bank 🙂
