Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers, grandmother’s and mother figures! I’m so blessed to be the mother of two very wonderful children, Darwin and Tarryn. With the help of my husband we truly raised two incredible humans.

Mothers Day is always hard for me. I say I’m not going to cry and end up doing so anyway. It mostly happens at church, especially when the men sing “Mama” I totally break down. I miss my mother!

I will keep today’s post short. Oh! when I tell you I struggled last night trying to find something to wear on this special day “Mother’s Day”. Let’s just say nothing fit 😉 . Reality ladies, reality.

Today’s outfit was a tent dress. I’ve worn one of these before. I love the off-the-shoulder look the most. You know my saying; “A woman’s shoulders are the most beautiful part of her body”. It doesn’t hurt that this dress has pockets either.

Accessorizing was soooo simple. Long silver and white earrings, with a charmless silver choker. I loaded up on silver bangles, can’t get enough. I chose a high heel pump with a very pointy toe and spikes all around. I’ve been itching to wear this shoe for over a year now. Today was the perfect day to rock them!

My handbag was special. A gift from my husband. A large colorful clutch, that can be worn with just about any color. It was a great compliment to my outfit.

This is what makes me a mom and grandmother!

Happy Mother’s Day! My children are the greatest gift God could have given me. How lucky am I to be their MOTHER. The only sad thing about today, my mother is gone but her presence lives on in my ♥ …

Today’s outfit was something I saved just for today. When I first saw it I thought, this is different. This unique white sheath dress with attached floral, split maxi wrap left me feeling very girly! I love how it blows in the wind.

I wanted to bring out the pink accents in the wrap. I did that by simply adding pink earrings, necklace and peep toe shoes with pink highlights.

My BAG today was unique as well. A box purse mimicking a perfume bottle added the final touch.

Happy Mother’s Day!!! Mother’s Day always leaves me a little sad because I can’t share it with my mother. But, I get to share it with my two beautiful children.

Today I chose to do something a little different. Since it is Mother’s Day I decided to go a little more formal, after all it’s a special day.

This maxi was purchased during one of my quantity shopping sprees. Remember I told you a while back sometimes I hit up the BIG BOX DISCOUNT STORES and go for it!

Style Tip – “The clothes don’t make you, You make the clothes”.

I added some pizzazz with this statement necklace. This maxi is versatile, I can take it to casual by adding a headband, flat sandals, big hoop earrings and a simple necklace.

I’m also a collector of bags, mainly “clutches” I always have one to complete my outfits.
