Sunday Social: Black & White With A Little Fringe

What a great weekend it has been….  Happy Sunday…  Today’s outfit was cute yet simple.  I think I will place it in the fun category.  I chose this black and white pencil skirt and somewhat of a see thru crop top (not quite) with a cami.  Fringe accompanied me by way of my shoes and purse 🙂  Oh! Notice I’m not wearing my usual sunglasses.  I just picked up a new pair yesterday.   There is BEAUTI in everything, find it…

Saturday Night Life: Orange Romper

Processed with Moldiv

Saturday Night Life.  I had the pleasure of attending a benefit Saturday night at BULLFIGHT a new restaurant opening in Austin, TX.  I chose this orange romper, it was perfect for a Texas summer night.

Sunday Social: Colorful Floral Dress

Happy Sunday.  Today I thought I would give off my Stepford Wives Look :-)…  Keeping with my bright colors and floral print, this dress is a throw back of several years.  It still looks as if I    purchased it yesterday.  The necklace I’m wearing was a gift from my daughter and I happen to have the earrings and watch in my     jewelry box already, (the perfect pair).   Summer is almost coming to an end (31 days to be exact)  I’m going to miss all the cheerful bright colors… “There is BEAUTI in everything, find it”…

Sunday Social: 2pc Color Burst

I just love bright colors, have I said that already…  I was pretty busy this morning I didn’t have much time to think about what to wear today.  It had to be simple and easy. The simple choice was this 2pc matching set I purchased as separates. This outfit was on the mannequin and I loved the top. The low back is what caught my eye. I’m so in love with pencil skirts and this semi high-low pencil skirt served up style. Simple jewelry and shoes with a hint of pink finished the look. Didn’t I wear PINK last Sunday…  🙂

Out the Door: Electric Blue

I’m off to the office in my Electric Blue dress. It’s always fun to shop my own closet. This outfit was very easy to put together. The show stopper for me is the SCARF and it was only $1.00 (I’m not embarrassed to tell you where I got it either, it looks just as good as a $10.00 scarf) 🙂  that’s right another one of my dollar store finds and I LOVE the boldness of all the colors. It went very well with this dress. I added a colorful belt and shoes, POOF an outfit was born and on a budget, even better.
Unstoppable in my ELECTRIC Blue Dress. What bold colors have you been wearing this summer?

Sunday Social: Knockout Pink Maxi

Oh What at Sunday… Today was a good day. The Sunday sermon at Church was awesome and uplifting.  Afterwards we had a delicious brunch at Freda’s in Austin, TX (where photos were taken).
Today’s outfit Knockout PINK… This maxi dress was hanging inside the dressing room, the color caught my eye immediately, I had to try it on…  I’m so in love with these summer colors, they just speak SUMMER to me. This particular dress is actually what Gianni Bini is calling “Fan Favs”. Don’t be afraid to wear colors like pink, yellow and even orange.  There are no rules, if you like it, wear it.
I have to talk about the shoes.  You may be surprised to read this but I only have two pairs of white shoes.   I seem to struggle in finding a pair that I really like.  I had second thoughts about this pair but I went with my first mind.  Glad I did, I love em…
Remember, there is BEAUTI in everything, find it….

Street Style: Halter Side Slit Maxi

I’m having fun in the sun all the while trying to keep cool and stay fashionable 🙂  This side slit maxi dress is from Old Navy, you know it was on sale… I added this white (men’s) shirt from Burlington Coat Factory to keep it more suitable for work.  I used the belt as a headband.

Sunday Social: One Piece Palazzo Pant

Todays outfit was easy.  The one piece palazzo pants.  I used the cover up for church and removed it later for lunch.  This one piece is from H&M and the cover up came from Belk, I picked it up while I was in Florida last year.  I had no idea what to do with it until today.  I can’t forget the necklace, it was a gift from my daughter.  Its’ quite the conversation piece and one of my favorite necklaces.

Today was my granddaughters birthday and we celebrated with lunch at Maggiano’s Little Italy in the Domain.
