Look What I Found “Scarves”

Look what I found. I stopped by a store to purchase a greeting card. What did I see yes these scarves? I immediately thought about the days leading up to July 4th festivities. They can be used several different ways: tied around the neck of course, the waist as a belt, a headband and tied to a purse handle.  I plan to use and share them with my Grand Girls. OK now I will spill the beans, they were only $1.00 each, yep!

I know for a fact they will look good however I decide to wear them. It was a dollar well spent, in my case $4.00. The BEAUTI in this, not everything has to break the bank 🙂

BEAUTI in my little white dress. I LOVE to wear white and I can always count on getting a spot or two on me for sure. White is a great cool color for spring and those hot summers. When it’s hot outside I find myself wearing it two or three times a week, with my spots.

My dress is Cremieux I got on sale for 60% off, regular $129. I chose a floral print shoe by Guess. I wanted the dress to be the statement so I was minimal with my earrings and necklace. I found the bag when I was in Florida last year, finally got to use it.

Red White & Blue You

Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone… How do you RED WHITE & BLUE? I thought about what I would  wear to the picnic then later for cocktails.  Not wanting to change clothes completely, I decided to just change my accessories.

It’s so simple to go from day to night with little effort. The elastic ankle jean I’m wearing are I-N-C International Concepts from Mays’s they are unbelievably soft.   My red Vince Camuto pumps (pointed toes) were purchased about two years ago from Dillard’s.  I switched from a tied scarf (it’s actually my husband’s pocket square, SHHH don’t tell, he didn’t even notice) to a chunky necklace, added bangles and changed my watch.  The one major change that made the biggest difference was my bags.  The large Michael Kors Tote and small sequence clutch (added some sparkle) was a perfect transition.  Enjoy the BEAUTI in your long weekend.  And lastly, please remember our fallen Military men and women.

Shoe On Point

There is nothing like a Pointed Toe Shoe. These are some oldies but goodies “J Renee’s” remember them. When I say old they really are but still in style today! I live for the point. These shoes look best with skinny and boyfriend jeans (to me). Don’t get me wrong you can wear these with just about anything and I do. But it’s something about wearing them with jeans.   For those that can’t wear the four inch skinny heel try flats or kitten heel pointy toe shoes. You can purchase these types of shoes just about anywhere.  I found the BEAUTI in the POINT…

I find BEAUTI in everything.  This is what I wanted my Blog to be about a little bit of everything.  My Beauti for today are these earrings my 8 year old granddaughter made for me.  I’m wearing them today actually and I couldn’t be happier!   You see, you can incorporate just about anything into your wardrobe. It’s all about the BEAUTI!   Thanks Hayleigh.

I Promised Peonies

I promised peonies.  These beautiful flowers are courtesy of my good friend and florist,  Violet Hill Floral .  Fresh flowers bring a burst of color to any room, its like bringing the garden indoors.  I love to have fresh flowers in my closet/studio, it’s the BEAUTI start of my day.
